I get criticized a lot for ranking on bridal stores and their employees for many things. Here is the other side of the coin. Brides are very special customers. If you have never had one before, put on your most patient attitude and get ready for a ride. When a bride comes to you with the most important garment of her life, she is obviously going to be nervous. And you might be too if you have never dug into a wedding gown. When you get alone with the dress, you get to see it as just a big white garment, but when you are with the bride, that big white dress holds a lot of complication that has nothing to do with it's construction. The best thing you can do is listen intently to the bride. It may take all your skills to draw her out and get the information you need to do your best work for her, but that is what she is expecting.
